It’s just anecdoctal writing from me and for you
As you may have noticed like on the homepage, that i migrated from my former site to this one. This was all due thanks to my imprudent actions, which caused me to lose all access to and writings from my old blog.
To be frank, at first i didn’t want to start a new blog or move all of my old articles, since i don’t have much time. Instead, i was thinking, “Okay, let’s just renew the domain subscription annually and hope that website still don’t kick the bucket yet” 😂
However, recently when i attempted to turn on the statistics to see how many unique/organic visitors visited my previous blog, i’m quite surprised that last year, my prior website received >140k visits. This has caused me to change my perspective to one of “well, maybe i’ll go full throttle to migrate to new blog.” Even though these numbers are obviously not very high, I’m still stunned that some people “willingly” go through and read all of my stuff (thank you, everyone! 🙏)
It should go without saying that i don’t specifically set out to attract users with fancy stuff (?) or even share specific writings on social media on a regular basis, so that’s why it making me frown and ask, “Wait, what? are you even serious?”
So, here i’m with my new personal website, and i would also like to express my gratitude to jzhao for creating this simple yet captivating website. Cheers~
