I just realized that when you do a push-up with slow-paced or appropriate tempo, it feels different. Last week’s i asked my coworkers about this, and he’s suggested to try changing the tempo when lowering the body, and i felt the unpleasant effect afterwards (probably DOMS1). Usually, when i do a pushup with 15-30 repetitions, my body (especially my arms and calves) doesn’t feel sore. However, when i tried to slow down the tempo of my movement, i just noticed that at the 12/13th repetition, my calves and arms felt very heavy, so i just stopped at the 15th. I guess it’s a good lesson learned from me since all of this time, i just focused on the velocity rather than doing with the right position
