• This is my subjective and all fellow coworkers/friends/families or specifically in Indonesia may refute or rebuttal this arguments. But i think Indonesia’s democracy somehow is a hybrid regime between democratic institutions & authoritative tendencies, we may never formally acknowledge it, but it has already run over. When democracy is born in hard place, there’s an incremental risk of democratic backsliding appearing. When i’m saying born in a hard place, indonesia already encountered back then in 1998 when confronted with major event such as: economic crisis with large population societal complexities ethnoreligious polarization and political uncertainty. But after all, perspective matters: all cats are beautiful, right?

  • At the moment, the QA team is exploring how MCP and agentic AI models could be applied to writing automation tests. We’re not against to using them, in fact, we’re already familiar with the tools. However, our observations show that while MCP can be helpful, it also comes with big trade-offs. The outputs are often limited in scope and still require additional mitigation and refinement, which can actually slow down our process rather than accelerate it.

  • In the past few weeks, i’ve been involved in a collaborative research project with my girlfriend, focusing on how we might help children with autism improve their skills. One of the approaches we explored was the use of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) alongside Montessori techniques, both of them are widely applied by teachers and experts to support children with autism in expressing their thoughts and feelings. Through this exploration, i learned a few important things:

    • Many PECS use illustrated images rather than real ones, which can sometimes cause confusion or create dualism for children
    • Using PECS effectively requires certain “requirements” such as the child’s ability to:
    • recognize the differences in word meanings
    • distinguish between different object images
    • To build familiarity with words or object, it’s important to start with items from the child’s environments, since every child’s environment is unique and diverse, personalization is important and become crucial in this foundation The PECS is primarily effective for children with nonverbal autism
